Ways to write Certification

Many a times, i saw DBAs searching over net in finding out ways of writing Oracle certification. so thought of sharing information which i know…

There are basically two ways for this

1) Contacting any authorized oracle test partner – previously this was Prometric center, but recently it was changed to Pearson Vue education

you can get details of center address and phone numbers in www.pearsonvue.com/oracle

Note : You are not going to get any discount if you write exam here

2) Oracle test center – this will be there in every city and exams will be conducted directly by Oracle Corporation. Here you will get the discount on all exams

Hands-on course to get OCP certificate

With this post, I would like to provide details about Hands-on course details which is a mandatory to get OCP certificate. This is for all the database versions. (10g, 11g and 12c)

Once we complete writing all certification exams for OCP, we need to complete this hands-on course from any one of the education partner of Oracle corp  to get the hard copy of the certificate.

As of now, SQL star is the only education partner in Hyderabad location. You can contact and ask for the supported course, fee and other details. Contact numbers can be retrieved from www.sqlstar.com.

Until we complete this course, you will not receive certificate. But this doesn’t mean that you are not certified. The moment you complete the exam, you will get a result sheet (which contain your pass percentage). That itself is the proof that you are an OCP.
