We have very
good job opportunity for Oracle DBA with one of our client UOL. United
Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: UNTD) is a leading provider of consumer products
and services over the Internet, where the company’s brands have
attracted a large online audience that includes more than 60 million
registered accounts. The company’s offerings include floral related
products and services (FTD and Interflora) for consumers and retail
florists. The company’s Content & Media segment services are online
nostalgia (Memory Lane) and online loyalty marketing (MyPoints). Its
primary Communications segment services are Internet access and email
(NetZero and Juno).

We have 2 openings in DB team. Look for B-tech/MCA male candidates only,
60% throughout acads. , with notice period not more than 60 days. 1
month or less notice period candidates will be preferred.

1.       Oracle DB with RAC

2.       Oracle without RAC ( knowledge about post-gress, informatica, hadoop)

Experince : 4-8 yrs

Basic SQL and PL/SQL knowledge

– Excellent in Oracle RDBMS architecture concepts

– Good knowledge in install, upgrade and patching

– Excellent in database performance tuning

– Have good knowledge in troubleshooting issues

– Advanced Backup and recovery using RMAN

– Expertise in administering RAC/ASM & Dataguard

– Knowledge using OEM, and Grid console

– Handling database Corruption issues

– Coordinate the backfilling and refreshing of development environments between and releases

– Preparing and reviewing complex change plans

– Good knowledge of Linux & Solaris with shell scripting, Implementing Best practices

– Act as a single point of contact for tracking, driving, escalating,
coordinating, and communicating the resolution of Production &
development

environment issues

– Maintain and document the dba support strategy

-should support On-call
