Oracle DBA

Mode: Contract (6 months)

Experience:  4yrs -6 yrs

Job location : Mumbai

Job Description: 

•           Need a Oracle DBA with 4 to 6 years of experience.

•           Need a resource with experience on managing Oracle databases in AIX and Windows environment

•           Experience with Oracle 10g & 11g on AIX and Windows (support / installations / upgrades)

•           Experience with SAP databases using Oracle on AIX (This is a core Mosaic need from both the architectural understanding and operational support standpoint.)

•           Experience with automated Oracle monitoring using OEM and Quest tools.

•           Experience with managing large terabyte sized databases

•           Experience with high availability techniques

•           Experience with disaster recovery concepts and techniques

•           Experience with RMAN (database backup and recovery and duplication)

•           Experience with OEM (AWR, ADDM) – including implementation, automated monitoring, problem analysis & resolution

•           Experience with Oracle & 3rd party tools (SQLPlus, Data Pump, SQL Loader, Toad)

•           Excellent performance tuning skills (database and SQL)

•           Experience with shell scripting

•           Excellent communication skills
