Job Description

Sr. Oracle Apps DBA/Oracle DBA(Shareplex)

* 4+ Years of relevant experience as oracle Apps DBA / /Oracle DBA(Shareplex)

* Working knowledge in oracle 11i/R12 EBS environment.

* In-depth knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g with production support experience

* Installation, Cloning, Database Refresh, Patching and monitoring of Oracle APPS 11i/R12 and Database.

* Experience with Unix/Linux including basic commands and basic shell scripting.

* Good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle Recovery Manager, Import/Export and Datapump)

* Oracle Database Installation and upgrade in windows and unix environment.

* Good understanding of DB statistics reports/tools like statspack, AWR, ADDM, Trace, Tkprof, explain plan & OEM.

* Good working knowledge of job scheduling in Unix environment and monitoring scripts/tools.

* Good evaluation skills

* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

* Understanding of complex information and requirements

* Good communications skills – written and verbal
