Exp. 4 years to 7 years
Skills Reqd-Highly proficient in CORE DBA spanning multiple releases like 10g, 11g R1 and R2
Project/Team management and Technical Design Experience.
Advanced Oracle DBA and Application DBA knowledge like RAC Installation, Troubleshooting existing setup and Performance tuning (DB and SQL).
Can write and modify UNIX Shell Scripts.
Shift Management.
Technology Area: 9i and 10g, 11g Databases. RAC, ASM mandatory.
Experience in Transition of services highly desirable.
Experience in Exadata (V1 or V2 or X2) highly desirable.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer RAC Databases. Strong knowledge of CRS, ASM and RMAN.
Upgrade /Migration. Major and minor upgrade experience required.
Performance Monitoring, Collection and Analysis E.g.– Staspack , AWR Analysis
Ability to setup monitoring tools like GRID control.
Documenting the Solution and work with Project Lead on the Deliverables
Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
Maintain effective working relationships with Colleagues and customers and third party service providers.
Routine DBA functions like User Management, tablespace management, Datapumps, Clusterware management, ASM Administration, Database Clones, backup-recovery using RMAN and patch management.
Ability to anticipate and proactively manage issues before they become major problems
Shift Management and Mentoring Skills
Advance Configuration setup like Installing RAC, configuring VIP, running NETCA etc.
Exadata skills like Cell monitoring, cell patching, ILOM Management and Cell Reboot highly desirable.
Maintain effective working relationships with project team and customers and third party service providers.
Team Management /Development
Leadership and ability to take Initiative for technical improvements on existing engagements.

HOW TO USE MY DATABASE VIA (SQL LOADER).?
WHERE CAN I WRITE TNSNAMES.ORA AND LISTENER.ORA ?

Hi Murthi,
You need to configure listener.ora on the OEL machine and tnsnames.ora on windows. But for this you need to have oracle client s/w installed on windows machine.
