Job Purpose: You will be part of Kony”s Production Support Group, supporting our fortune 500 clients resolving challenging technical issues.

JD:

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Data Modeling – design and document database architecture.

 Build database schema, tables, procedures and permissions

 Develop database utilities and automated reporting

 Create shell scripts for task automation

 Create, test and execute DML

 Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements

 Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency

 Monitor systems and platforms for availability

 Oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover

 Restore and recover corrupted databases

 Implement security and encryption

Desired Candidate Skill Set

 Should have working knowledge in Oracle DBA

 Good understanding of DB2 database administration

 Shell Scripting.

 Good knowledge in Linux, Unix, SAN, RAID and on HA solutions (VCS, RHCS)

 Provide 24/7 support for critical situations

 Evaluate and recommend new database technologies

 Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects excellent communication skills, ability to articulate customer needs and address concerns.
