Broad Skill: Oracle DBA, SQL / PL SQL

Additional Skill: Informatica Administration would be plus
BI tool Administration would be plus
DW/BI concepts and Dimensional Modeling
UNIX Shell Scripting
SDLC Methodologies

Job Description:

Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools
Good knowledge of the physical database design
Create databases and schemas, tables
Ability to perform both Oracle performance tuning and monitoring
Implementaion of Security Roles, groups
Sound knowledge of Security design & integration with LDAP directory
Use data modeling tool to update objects and generate ddl
Sound knowledge of Oracle DB Performance tuning and SQL optimization is must
Consult the development team about design options
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
Develop stored procedures, triggers, functions, misc db objects
Support developers with database  activities
Troubleshooting
Issue resolution
Communicate with developers, other teams, and vendors
Predicting future Oracle trends for hardware usage and user load
Knowledge of Information Tool Administration would be plus
Knowledge of BI tool Administration would be plus
