• Independently provides platform operations support for Unix Infrastructure (Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux & AIX). • Provide and maintain the overall operational quality, service delivery and security compliance within UNIX team. • Adhere to service delivery process and procedures. • Provide emergency support in terms of resources and skills. • Provide operational support coverage and escalation. • Independently handle and deliver work assigned from simple to complex in nature. • Achieves defined KPI’s meeting the SLA. • Takes Ownership of the assigned task / project delivering it end to end independently. • Provide operational input to engineering roadmaps for each of the distributed platforms, working in partnership with the Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture function. • Provides inputs to Engineering team related to build bugs, product evaluation which in turn could help Engineering Team to define technology roadmap and improve build standards. • Mentors and trains team members to be help them support independently. • Maintain market awareness of new products that could potenti
