Job Description:

5+ years strong experience with Apps DBA
Good communication is must because being a lateral consultant he/she needs to do client inter facing when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on technical knowledge of Oracle Database and Application Architecture
• Strong hands-on experience working with multiple Operating System.
• Troubleshoot and performance tune Enterprise level databases and E-Biz Suite issues
• Should be ready to work in 24 X 7 support model
• Utilize Change Management controls.
• Build enduring relationship with clients.
• Skills / Attributes Required
• 6 – 8 years IT services work experience ( relavent)
• Oracle Certified (Either of the certifications)
– 9i or 10g or 11g OCP (Preferred)
– Oracle EBS 11i or R12 Certified (Preferred)
– Oracle 10g or 11g RAC Certified (Preferred)
• Should have a strong experience as an Oracle Core DBA (min 2 Yrs)
• Should have a strong experience as an Oracle Apps DBA (min 4 Yrs)
• Prior Experience in production support (24X7 model) is a must
• Prior Experience in 11i or R12 EBS Support with HA Solutions (Must)
• Prior Experience in RAC Database Support (Must)
• Linux Administration and operating system scripting skills.
• Exposure to an on-site / offshore delivery model involving client inter-action (Preferred)
• Should have a good knowledge on Performance Tuning of Oracle Database and EBS (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Pleasant personality
• Excellent presentation skills
