Job description

1 Oracle Apps DBA
2 Oracle Apps Lead DBA

(1) Problem Management
– Provide technical leadership for problem solving
– Ensure clear ownership of problem determination / resolution
– Ensure completeness of problem analysis / impact analysis
– Review completeness of root cause and recommend resolution / workarounds
– Prepare management report, ensure accuracy and completeness of contents

(2) Vendor Management
– Ensure clear and formal agreement for vendor management
– Ensure back-to-back contract agreements to meet all SLAs

(3) User Request/Project/SR Management
– Understand and adhere to user request/SR processes and SLA
– Provide technical leadership for all user request/SR/Project delivery matters

(4) Reporting
– Review monthly report to be sent to assigned support customers
– Submit monthly support consumption to support manager

(5) Technical

– At least 5 years of relevant Oracle Apps DBA experience
– EBS Installation (11i and R12) single node to complex nodes
– Patching
– Cloning
– Upgrade from 11i to R12 (including DB and Discoverer)
– OS Platform migration (11i and R12)
– RMAN / Dataguard
– Performance Tuning
– Very good troubleshooting experience
– Database version : 9i, 10g, 11g
– Have experience in RAC/ASM, SSL, SSO and Oracle Virtual Machine preferable
– Good communication skill

(6) Additional
– Prior project management skills is an advantage
– Technically strong and able to perform technical planning and review
– Good client and vendor management skills
