We have a Job opening for the position of ID Database Engineer with the leading MNC!!!

Experience Required: 4-8 years

Primary responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement system infrastructure for Database
platforms
* Database Architecture and Administrative experience on Windows and
AIX platforms
* Oracle (10g/11g) Database Architecture and Administration work
experience which includes:
– Installation, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and performance
tuning of Oracle servers and databases
– Review key database features that would help improve
performance and stability in the environment
– Understand gaps that exist in the current infrastructure setup and
identify features that would help fill out those gaps
– Setting up and troubleshooting database monitoring and backup &
recovery processes
– Performing database upgrade to new versions
– Applying database patches as per application requirement
* Oracle Real Application Cluster experience on Unix (AIX) platform
* Understanding shell/batch scripts for automation of day to day operations
* Lead and participate in database infrastructure projects such as deployments
of new systems/processes, database upgrades etc.
* Coordinate with database product vendors for escalated support issues
* Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts
* Understanding of scheduling tools like Cron, AutoSys.
* Draft and maintain systems environment documentation
