Dear Candidate,
We are having an urgent positions with our client McKinsey India (www.mckinsey.com) for Gurgaon location.
Position – Database Specialist (Database Engineer DBA)

Experience – 5 Years to 7 Years
Skills – Oracle Apps Database Administration

* B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc (Computer/Electronics)/MCA
* Minimum of 4 Years -7 years work experience in Oracle Apps Database Administration.
* English language proficiency both written and verbal (B2 following CEFR scheme).
* DBA Specialists work in a team on a 24/7 basis out of Gurgaon.

Mandatory:

1. Oracle Applications (APPS DBA) experience on Unix (AIX) platform.
2. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 Database Administration work experience which includes:
* Installation, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning of SQL Server database
* Performing database upgrade to new version
* Applying database patches as per application requirement
* Setting up and troubleshooting database monitoring and backup & recovery processes
3. Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to monitor Oracle & SQL Server infrastructure
4. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and determine their applicability within McKinsey’s environment
5. Excellent communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
6. Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
7. Individual should be highly adaptable and open to work on new tasks
8. Need to keep up with a rapidly changing environment through a strong
9. Willingness to learn and the ability to manage own tasks
