We at Resource PLUS having a job opening with our client Tech Mahindra @ Bangalore for Remedy Developer.
THIS WILL BE 6 MONTHS CONTRACT. VALID PASSPORT IS MANDATORY.
Location- Bangalore.
Job Responsibilities
1. Strong working knowledge of the Action Request System
2. Experience implementing the complete ITSM suite, which includes service desk, asset management, change management, and service level management. Version 7.5 preferred.
3. Experience with the BMC Atrium CMDB.
4. Crystal Reports exposure
5. General programming experience with one or more of the following: Perl, Java, C, Shell
6. Strong communication skills
7. ITIL designation, or experience, is preferred.
Education and Experience
B.E/B Tech
Minimum 4 years experience as Remedy developer on Remedy custom applications or standard ITSM suite.
Supervision (Given and/or Received)
Receives limited supervision. Receives little instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments. Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates team goals into own work assignment.
Core Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
o Development knowledge preferably on Unix or Solaris environment.
o Technical skills must include systems integration, database design and development based on the BMC Remedy ARS 7.5 platform.
o BMC Remedy ITSM Suite 7.5 (proficient in configuring & maintaining at modules end to end).
o Configuration and integration with Remedy Atrium CMDB. CMDB Reconciliation Engine knowledge is must.
o Knowledge on oracle.
o Understanding of basic ITIL processes
o Strong analytic skills
Interface/Collaboration
Internal engineering departments.
Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to function effectively in ambiguous circumstances. Shares information and communicates clearly with Worldwide team members to improve team effectiveness.
