Job Description :
Position: Oracle DBA (Jr. DBA/Mid Level DBA/Sr. DBA)
Exp: 2+ Years
Location: Trivandrum/Chennai/Cochin

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Participation in DBA 24/7 on-call/on-duty support.
2. Proven ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.
3. Proven ability to manage and work independently.
4. Proficiency in database manipulation using Oracle technology and tools.
5. Data migration experience.
6. UNIX operating system, shell scripting, cron jobs, etc.
7. Participation in the review of ETL processes and recommendations regarding DBMS load strategies.
8. Support of development, test and production database environments.
9. Management of DBMS software including upgrades, patches, maintenance releases, incidents, and tech alerts.
10. Implementation of new database features as they become available.
11. Monitor corporate database standards, including disaster recovery, security, and data retention.
12. Management of database configurations, schemas and space.
13. Rollout new application code/builds in various production and non-production environments.
14. Proven ability to troubleshoot database issues.
15. Minimum of 2-5 years of Oracle database administrative experience with versions 8i, 9i, 10g.
16. BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
17. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
18. Oracle DBA certification and RAC experience – a plus.
