Hi
I have a mandate to  recruit an Oracle database Administration – manager for  a US MNC firm in Hyderabad  for their office in Cyber Gateway

GENERAL TASKS/DUTIES:

1) Very good communication skills
2) Hands on DBA technical expertise – 6-10 years Database Administration
3) Must have prior experience as a Core DBA
4) Must be very focused and attentive to detail
5) PeopleSoft and Oracle EBS experience is a plus
6) Prior team management experience is required
7) RAC experience is a must
8) Handling multiple clients is a plus
9) Must be able to Manage down (teams) and Manage up (Supervisors & Management)

– Maintains an effective relationship with customers, team members and management
– Provides input in the development of tools and processes to increase team productivity
– Builds confidence and trust with customers

– Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues
– Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to customers.
