This is an immediate requirement. We are looking for candidates who got experience as server admins for Windows, Unix and Solaris.
The experience can be mainly on Windows Server as an admnin, but the candidate should have knowledge on Unix and Solaris.

Job Description:
–  Physical Server Provisioning activities (Windows / Unix):
–  Review WO Tech details in WO and set the status to “Accepted”
–  Review OS Build Form in PRIME for OS build requirements
–  Complete the OS build as requested *1
–  Configure the OS with production network information
–  Configure Agents / OS Packages per OS Build Request
–  Record HBA details (WWN) in PRIME
–  Configure DVMT to enable auto patching (Windows only) *2
–  Configure Boks (Keon) for security authentication (Unix only)
–  Setup Tideway & ISS scans –
–  Update the appropriate Q&A and Complete WO
–  Rebuilding servers follow similar steps above and are in scope
1 – Each OS has a unique deployment mechanism and infrastructure. Wipro is expected to utilize the infrastructure and mechanisms provided in the manner documented (i.e. Cobbler and KickStart for Linux deployments on physical hosts, Jumpstart for Solaris, etc.)
2 – Some agents are configured when automation deploys them, others require manual configuration currently. Wipro is expected to utilize whichever method is necessary to achieve the required configuration.

–  Virtual Server Provisioning activities (ESX /AIX LPARs):
–  Build virtual servers / LPARS to client specifications, including operating system and disk, memory, and CPU requirements
–  Interact professionally with clients and technical teams to obtain necessary information and resolve issues
–  Utilize JPMSIPL internal systems for request management, IP address assignment, DNS registration, asset management, and standard toolset installation
–  Install and configure virtual servers with standard toolsets to ensure security and infrastructure readiness-
–  Decommission virtual servers as requested, including deletion and resource recovery
–  Modify pre-production virtual servers based upon client request, adding or removing resources as specified
–  Configure DVMT to enable auto patching (Windows only) *1
–  Configure Boks (Keon) for security authentication (Unix only)
–  Setup Tideway & ISS scans
–  Perform all activities in compliance with defined SLAs and at a high level of quality using pre-determined quality assurance scripts with zero defects. Wipro will be executing the scripts
