ROLE SUMMARY:

Perform database builds using standards.
Perform database on boarding using the standards, fix all the breaks.
Work closely with Application developers and SA’s on application installation and server configuration related work.
Suggest process improvements whenever required.
Participating in the day to day progression of project work.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Hands-on Oracle software, database & OEM installation / configuration.
Hands-on 10g / 11g Real Application Clusters.
Working knowledge of Unix operating system.
Good knowledge of RMAN.
Database Cloning / physical standby build Through RMAN.
Alert Monitoring / Resolution Through Grid Control.
Datapump (expdp/impdp).
Possess the basic architecture knowledge of Oracle databases.
Should have worked extensively on Oracle 10g databases with some experience on 11g.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 10g / 11g
Experience on managing the databases of financial organization.
