We have an Urgent Requirement with one of the leading EPC domain for Oracle Apps DBA.

Exp: 4-6 yrs.
Job Location: Gurgaon

Skills Required
Around 4-5 Years of total experience and at least 2-3 years of experience as Oracle Applications DBA. He should be able to take care of following responsibilities –

* Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
* Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
* Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
* Do database tuning and performance monitoring
* Setup and maintain documentation and standards
* Work as part of a team and provide 7×24 support when required
* Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
* Should be well conversant with Application fundamentals such as concepts and architecture
* Application Installation and configuration
* Patching and Upgrades
* Patch Management and Version Control
* Cloning requirements. This can be frequent in an Apps environment
* Concurrent Managers
* Forms/Report Servers
* Web Servers
* Sound knowledge of “ad” utilities
* Sound knowledge of 3 tier architecture

 Take care of the Database design and implementation
 Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
Soft Skills:
Good communication written as well as verbal.
