This would be IC role with L2 & L3 support. The shift is UK.

Job Description

Position Data:

Responsible for Intel hardware and Microsoft software operations and deployment.

In depth knowledge of Microsoft Window Server 2003/2008.

Participates in projects and provides technical support to internal users.

Implementation, Support and Troubleshooting of server infrastructure in a multi-tier environment.

Performs troubleshooting, performance and capacity tuning and trending analysis.

Provides installation, maintenance, and tuning of Windows hardware and software systems.

Prepares installs and implements Microsoft Windows Operating System Software and Active Directory Domains.

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot  MS Cluster Service to support SQL Databases.

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot  MS IIS Web Servers. Configure HP Proliant Servers and IBM Blade Servers.

Qualification (Skills, Education)

BS Degree in Computer Science, or the equivalent in education and/or experience.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical open system environment. E

xcellent communications, organizational, and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, and network technologies.

Understanding of Windows scripting and automation.

Overall knowledge of the hardware and software components of Windows operating system.

In depth knowledge of topology of Storage Area Network and the support of it.

Large data center experience highly desirable.

Financial Services background desirable.

Support of Microsoft Cluster services and IIS/.NET applications in a large hosting environment.
