Skills               :           Should have experience of 5+ years in Oracle DBA

Mandatory Skills : Oracle 10g DBA and following skills

Job Description :

Essential Education:

o Oracle 10g Administration essentials, Oracle Replication, Golden Gate replication.

Essential Experience/Technical Knowledge:

o Candidate must have at least 5 years expert level experience in Oracle
database administration administration, design and support under a
Unix/Linux environment, preferably gained in other securities companies
(more experience is highly preferable)

o Candidate should also have knowledge of RAC, RMAN and data guard

o Candidate must have at least 3 years experience with technical project management.  .

o Candidate must have a good understanding on the Operating system environment, such as Solaris, Linux and Windows.

o Must have a good understanding on clustered environments and database
high availaibility for eg. RAC high availability and VCS clustering or
Linux clustering

o Knowledge of Oracle on Windows a Plus

o Knowledge of Foglight monitoring tools, autosys job scheduling and AIX OS, desireable but not essential.

Systems Experience:

o Knowledge of  MS Project, SharePoint, Linux Clustering, NAS, Citrix, Foglight, Windows Server, Solaris 10, Liunx 5.x

Shift work Required:

o There will be some shift work involved, starting from 6:30 am for a week.  Late shifts may end by 10pm or later.

Additional Needs:

o Candidate should be analytical; good interpersonal and English
communication skills are essential; must be proactive, solutions
oriented and work well with a team
