SQL DataBase Administration Experience Mandatory

Responsibilities include

• Reducing incident volumes

• Increase support capacity

• Improved system stability and uptime.

• Leading Root Cause Analysis discussions

• Identifying areas of risk within the environments.

• Reducing Major Incidents within IT systems.

• Develop Performance and Control Metrics for System and Team Operations.

• Develop indebt technical knowledge of the IT Systems.

• Work closely with the global Line 1 and Line 2 support desk to
ensure customers receive effective and timely communication as it
relates to incidents, problems and inquiries

• Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the incident management
process and team via restoration of normal services as quickly as
possible, with minimal impact upon business operations

• Proper logging, diagnosis, prioritization, escalation, and
communication related to incidents as defined by the incident management
process and procedures

• Works independently within established guidelines and procedures

• Work closely with the other team managers responsible for Optimizing, Operating, Changing, and other ASM Management

• Documentation of IT system, processes and knowledge base articles

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS/MA/MBA in Computer Science, MIS, or related field and 3+
years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training
and related work experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s core platform components (Windows
Server, SQL, & .NET suite of tools)strong knowledge of Microsoft
technology and solutions

• Proven experience of supporting enterprise application systems.

• Analytical problem solving skills and ability to identify issues in
complex technical and business problems within the software industry

• Prefer ITIL Foundation certification

• Prefer ITIL Practitioner certification: Configuration, Change & Release Management

• Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively with virtual teams of diverse background
