4. ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATION

Employment Status: 12 months contract (renewable)
No. of available Positions: 2 positions
Location: Malaysia

Work Experience Required:
Minimum 4-5 years working experience in Oracle Database Administration on UNIX environment.

Skills required:
Primary Skill: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle 10g, 11gR1 and above)
Secondary Skill: Oracle RAC with ASM, Data Guard knowledge.

Job Description:
Technical Roles & Responsibilities
Installation, Up-gradation Configuration and Administration of the Oracle;
Sound knowledge on UNIX environment;
Creation and managing databases, tables, views, indexes and other database objects;
Performance & tuning of the Database Server;
Planning & execution for Backup/Restore procedures;
Planning & execution for Security procedure;
Debugging & troubleshooting of queries / procedures;
Good in UNIX SHELL scripting;
Good in Documentation.
