Detailed Job Description: 

Senior DBA: Senior Database Administrator 

- Database administration on Oracle 10g/11g & Replication. 
- This include database health-check, backup-recovery, tuning and system audit services. 
- Extensive DBA experience on Oracle 11g and/or 10g with RAC 
- ASM & Grid control 
- Database migration from old version to latest version and apply any patches. 
- Liaise with vendor for any new requirements and problems. 
- Carry out new project implementations. Installation & build of new RDBMS servers and/or architectures for new projects and follow database support team"s standards and processes. 
- Building development & user acceptance databases and all associated maintenance (regular refreshes, problem mgmt etc...). 
- Release management for database scripts into production environment. 
- Must be capable of working under pressure and with multiple teams across the regions. 
- Effective problem solving skills to quickly narrow down to problems 
- Good team player 
- Knowledge and working experience in other RDBMS would be an added advantage.
