PSB for the JD:

?¢ Installing oracle server and client software, creating, upgrading and patching databases in *UNIX (AIX, HP), Linux and Windows environments.
â?¢ Experience in *Upgrade and Migration* of oracle database to higher version (from *Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g ) in multi platforms.
â?¢ Working with other teams to fix the problems in Applications.
â?¢ Performance Tuning of database which includes sql optimization, INIT.ORA, Oracle SGA, I/O balancing and memory.
â?¢ Extensive familiarity with Tools like OEM,Statspack,AWR,SQL tuning,TKPROF,Gathering statistics etc.
â?¢ Proficiency with Tuning SGA, Buffer Cache, Rollback Segments, Redo Mechanisms, Monitoring and Detecting Locks
â?¢ Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
