Job Description

Technical Skills and Experience

• Senior Oracle Apps DBA with proven experience Oracle Applications E-business suite (11i/R12), RDBMS 10g & 11g with ASM, 10g OAS
• In-depth knowledge of RAC mandatory
• Rapid Clone using hot backups.
• Patch Analysis (Family pack/mini packs/bug fixes) and application on different modules of E-business suite.
• Printer configuration (Pasta) in 11i
• System Administration tasks in Oracle Applications 11i including but not limited to maintenance of Users, Responsibilities, Menus, Customizations, Printers, Concurrent Managers & Requests etc
• Backup- RMAN, tar, cpio, gzip, Oracle Data Pump, export/import
• 10G Grid Control, Foglight – desirable
• Programming SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Perl Scripting, Shell scripting
• Working knowledge of Unix (Sun Solaris), Linux, Windows platforms and AIX
• Be able to provide proactive support by providing recommendations and advice to the customer.
• Good communication skills (ability to liaise at all levels, internally and externally)
• Exposure to ITIL process management.
• Excellent problem solving skills and highly organized with attention to details
